Dr. Falck began her professional career as a marine biologist. After a 2-year research project in the Red Sea, her interests evolved into a desire to work with animals in a clinical setting. She received her Veterinary Medical Doctor (V.M.D.) degree in 1997 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
